Animal Protection Aegina Agistri (APAA) must, regretfully, stop neutering stray cats because we have run out of money. In the past five years we have neutered thousands of cats and we are finally noticing a difference. Vets report less pregnant cats. We may be close to reaching the 55% of the population being neutered before the population decreases. If this is true, it is even more important to continue neutering and prevent the next breeding season which will bring more kittens.
